Our Bollywood has completed 100 years and in these 100 years, films have been made on so many subjects, be it period film, comedy film, action film or romantic. I will not say thriller because in a suspense film thrill is there but it is not necessary for a thriller film to have suspense in it, so I will call it a mystery and suspense film. 404: Error Not Found – 2011
The first number in this list comes from the film 404: Error Not Found. 404 is a psychological thriller film which was released on May 28, 2011, in which Imad Shah, son of Naseeruddin Shah, is in the lead role. Apart from this, Nishikant Qamar, Rajveer Arora, Tisca Chopra and Satish Kaushik are also there. The story of the film is about a professor Anirudh who believes that if you cannot give a scientific reason for someone’s existence in this world, then it means that the thing in the world. There was a room in his college hostel whose number was 404. In that room, 3-4 years ago, a boy had committed suicide and whose soul’s presence could be felt even today, that was the reason why he Taking the room would make any boy feel like it and then the further story begins. This is a film ahead of its time. I am saying this because at that time the audience did not understand this film much, although this film was Critics liked it a lot. Times of India gave it 4 stars out of five, Dainik Bhaskar gave it 4.5 stars out of 5 and Zoom TV also gave only 4 stars. You should not miss this film with good suspense.
Pizza – 2014
The next movie that I am going to mention is Pizza which was released in July 2014. The story of the movie revolves around Kunal. Kunal’s boss sends him to a house to deliver pizza. People, the atmosphere of the house was very strange. Will Kunal be able to get out from among them or will he remain trapped among them? To know this, you must watch the film. The suspense of this film is of top level but the promotion and The absence of big stars did not give this film that much fame. This film will maintain your interest. The acting of Akshay Oberoi and Parvati is excellent.
Dhuaan – 1991
The third film that comes in this list is named Dhuaan, released in 1981, the director of this film was Dulal Guha and the lead roles of this film were Rakhi Gulzar, Mithun Chakraborty, Ranjeeta and Amjad Khan. This film is based on the Hollywood film Chase a Crooked Shadow, which was released in 1957. This story is of Gayatri Saxena, whose husband was in High Commission in Manila and died. Gayatri has a brother-in-law. The film has been made in such a way that if I tell you a little story from anywhere, its suspense will fade, so it is better that you go and watch the film yourself. The music of the film has been given by RD Burman and this film has been edited by Vimal Rai.
Yakeen – 2005
The next film which comes in this list is named Yakeen, this film was released in 2005 and was directed by Girish Dham ji. Its lead roles were Arjun Rampal, Priyanka Chopra, Kim Sharma, Sudhanshu Pandey and Saurabh Shukla. The screen play of this film was written by Vikram Bhatt. This is inspired from the Hollywood film Shattered released in 1991. Apart from this, you can also match this film with the Hindi film Uljhan. While going, Simar and Nikhil meet with an accident in which Simar get some injuries but Nikhil loses his memory. Due to Simar’s love and care, Nikhil recovers very quickly, although his memory is not fine, after that both of them go to their home from the hospital. But for some time After this, Nikhil starts feeling that something is definitely going wrong in his life. Your excitement will remain throughout the film and the climax will surprise you a lot. Overall it is a good suspense movies.
Blue Oranges – 2009
Let’s see the next film which is Blue Oranges, 2009. This released film was quite under-promoted due to which the film could not reach a large audience. The story of the crime suspense thriller film is of an alcoholic lady Pooja Kamal who gets murdered and Detective Nilesh is appointed to investigate. Rajat Kapoor has played all the characters of the film who are somewhere under suspicion and the questions and answers to all these suspects and the investigation make the film more interesting. And at the end, in the climax, the curtains are lifted from all the layers, which is quite interesting. It is shocking. Ranjit Kapoor’s outstanding performance adds to the film.
